Music from West Side Story will be performed by Statesboro Chamber Orchestra at Averitt Center

The Statesboro Chamber Orchestra is gearing up for another performance and this time it's a doozy - West Side Story on May 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Emma Kelly Theater.

Come enjoy your favorites from this classic, which features the music of legendary composer Leonard Bernstein.

This Statesboro Chamber Orchestra concert will include the orchestra's take on hits such as "Tonight," "One Hand, "One Heart" and, of course, "Somewhere."

Special guest vocalists, Rachel Elkins as Maria and Robert Cottle as Tony, will join the orchestra for several numbers.

This is a free concert and is open to the public.
