The Georgia Southern University Performing Arts Center (PAC) has an exciting 2025–2026 season planned for the community.
“To the community, I would like to welcome everyone through our doors once again for another season that is PAC-ked with programming!", Daniel Brown, PAC Director. "I am confident that this year will be one of the most exciting to date.”
Main Stage shows in the upcoming season will include:
-
The United States Army Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus – October 29, 2025
-
As You Like It* by William Shakespeare – November 13–15, 2025
-
I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas – November 20, 2025
-
Candlelight Celtic – March 2, 2026
-
Sweat* by Lynn Nottage – April 9–11, 2026
As the PAC continues to shift its programming to represent the university’s mission, one of the PAC’s highest priorities remains “enhancing quality of life through scholarly pursuits, cultural enrichment, student life, and community engagement” for students. To that end, facilitating a space for education for both Georgia Southern Theatre students and the students of greater Bulloch County area continues to be reflected in its programming.
This year, the PAC will be collaborating with the Georgia Southern Theatre once more to co-produce two of their productions as part of its main stage season. These will include Shakespeare’s As You Like It, as well as a contemporary play, Sweat, by Lynn Nottage.
This collaboration not only provides Georgia Southern’s own students a fully equipped proscenium space to perform in and refine their respective crafts, but it also provides PAC patrons the opportunity to see what Georgia Southern University students are doing and reflect in real-time where your support for the PAC goes.
“Aside from our programming, my staff and I continue to focus on upgrades," Brown continued. "You will notice continued renovations, as well as some quality-of-life updates within the house, the lobby, and throughout the space. Additionally, the PAC is now fully staffed. Along with the PAC’s Technical Director, Harley McCumber, and Patron Services Manager, Allyson Lee, this past year we welcomed to the team a new Lead Technician, Riley Hinson. Riley is from Lilburn, Georgia, and he is a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University, receiving his Master of Music with a Concentration in Music Technology. He is a welcome asset to the PAC, and when he’s not running sound or lights for a PAC production, you can find him playing piano around the area with his band, Blue Horizon.”
To secure future Eagles and provide arts education, the PAC has also expanded its Matinee Series even further this year, contracting twelve educational touring shows to be presented by both touring theatre companies and our very own GS Theatre students, something the PAC is so proud to showcase.
These include:
- The Legend of Sleepy Hollow – Wednesday, October 8th, 2025
- New Kid – Friday, October 10th, 2025
- Peter Pan – Tuesday, October 21st, 2025
- As You Like It* - Thursday, November 13th, 2025

This season, the PAC will be hosting even more free and open to the public events that include concerts for Georgia Southern's Gretsch School of Music students (string, wind and jazz ensembles) and events from the Communication Arts Department, such as student film festivals and world premiere film screenings.
Keep an eye on the PAC website for updates on all our upcoming programming.
