Bulloch's legislative delegation emphasized growth and opportunity at luncheon
The Bulloch County legislative delegation for the Georgia legislature praised local elected leaders, business leaders and community leaders for helping position Bulloch County to take advantage of opportunities created by economic development. With Statesboro and Bulloch County ranked with some of the highest poverty rates in the state, high paying jobs will help lift many from poverty.

BOE honors LCMS basketball champions and commends LEAP Program
The Bulloch County Board of Education met April 11, 2024. They recognized the Langston Chapel Middle School basketball team and got an update from the school. Marty Holder also updated the Board on the county's LEAP program to address extreme behavioral issues.

City of Statesboro selected for the GICH Senior Year Program
Out of 51 eligible alumni communities, 4 communities were selected for the second phase of review, which consisted of a site visit. After the site visit, Statesboro was selected as one of the inaugural communities. GICH Senior Year will allow the City of Statesboro to receive technical assistance from the Carl Vinson Institute, Georgia Municipal Association, and Department of Community Affairs on several housing and development-related grants.
