Mr. Remer Cowart, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 17, 2023. He was born and raised in Savannah. Remer moved to Stilson in 1985 to farm with his best friend Robert Swint.
Remer is preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Lillie Cowart, three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife Diane Cowart of Brooklet, his son and daughter-in-law, Brian (Michelle) Cowart, a grandson, Austin (Angela) Cowart, his granddaughters, Kendyl and Payton (Pierce), two great-grandchildren, Asher and Brooks, as well as a sister, Trish (Joe) McKenzie.
No services will be held at this time.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s, Shriners Children’s Hospitals, or to Tunnels to Towers Foundations.
