Gary I. Frawley Jr. “June Bug”, age 55, passed away peacefully on August 18th 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. He was a native of Bulloch County and graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School with the class of 1987. After graduation he became a builder by trade. He loved hunting, fishing, his dogs, judging dog shows, and fox hunting. He had a heart of gold and was loved by so many. Gary was a member of Brooklet United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary I. Frawley Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Dianne Frawley of Brooklet, a brother, Stephen Frawley (Susie) of Statesboro, his ex-wife, Tonya Phillips of Statesboro, a nephew, Tyler Frawley (Madison), a niece, Tiffany Frawley, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 10:00am until 11:00am at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Rick Mitchell.
The interment at Bulloch Memorial Gardens will be private.
Pallbearers will be Bill Tyson, Rusty Thompson, Lee Glisson, Brian Swint, Bobby Campbell, and Gerald Ward.
