Tasting Statesboro is August 17; Last call for sponsors and vendors!

The 13th annual Tasting Statesboro is set for Thursday, August 17, at the Foxhall. This signature event is an opportunity to sample dishes from over 30 local restaurants while supporting a worthy cause!

Tasters experience a wide variety of food ranging in cuisines and have their chance at over 30 incredible raffle items. Since 2011, the United Way of Southeast Georgia has successfully hosted Tasting Statesboro: The United Way to raise awareness and funds for local member agencies.

Every year, establishments from around the area have participated in the event to promote their menus ranging from breakfast, lunch, dinner, and appetizers to desserts, coffee, beer, and wine! Best of all, all proceeds from the event directly benefit local charities.

Recipients of funds include Action Pact, American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Club, Bulloch Med Connection, Child Advocacy Services SEGA, Statesboro Food Bank, Hearts & Hands Clinic, Homebound Services, Lift As You Grow, Prevent Child Abuse Bulloch, Safe Haven/Citizen Against Violence, The Salvation Army, and W.E. MOVE. Tutoring Group.

Tickets are $25 in advance (by end of day Wednesday, August 16th) or $30 at the door. Kids 5 and under are free, and kids 6-10 are $15. If you need a child's ticket, please contact the United Way office at 912.489.8475 or ccassedy@unitedwaysega.org.
