The Southeast Bulloch Band will host its Spring Concert "A Symphony of Stories" on Friday night, May 5th, at First Baptist Church of Statesboro at 7pm. The band will be performing works inspired by some of the world's greatest books and short stories, from children's classics like "Where the Wild Things Are" to the J.R.R. Tolkien masterwork "The Lord of the Rings" and everything in between.
Admission is free, but as always, the band will be collecting canned goods and donations for the Statesboro Food Bank at the door. There will be raffles and door prizes during the event, as well. They will also perform the world premier of their newly commissioned work "And Straight on till Morning" by up-and-coming composer and GSU graduate, Patrick Smith.
