ExperCARE Founder/CEO Catherine Grant announces transition to strategic board role

Catherine Grant

ExperCARE, a leading provider of on-demand healthcare services across Georgia and Alabama, announced a planned leadership transition. Catherine Grant, the visionary Founder and Chief Executive Officer who has led the organization since its founding in 2009, will transition from CEO to Board Director, where she will continue to serve in a strategic capacity, continuing to shape the company’s mission and long-term vision at the governance level.

Grant’s leadership over the past 16 years has been nothing short of transformative. What began as a single-location urgent care addressing a local need has evolved into a high-growth, multi-location healthcare platform recognized for its exceptional patient experience, operational excellence, and unwavering commitment to access and compassion in care.

Throughout her tenure, Grant has built a reputation as a bold, purpose-driven leader--championing innovation, fostering a high performance culture, and consistently delivering industry-leading performance metrics. Under her guidance, ExperCARE has earned national recognition, maintained top patient satisfaction ratings, and become a model for modern, convenient, patient-first healthcare delivery.

“Founding and leading ExperCARE has been the greatest honor of my professional life,” said Grant. “What started as a vision to bring accessible, high-quality care to our community has grown into a trusted brand serving thousands across two states. I'm incredibly proud of the extraordinary team, the resilient culture, and the values that define who we are. I look forward to continuing to support ExperCARE’s growth and impact in my role as board director.”

Grant will remain actively engaged during the leadership transition and throughout the onboarding of a new CEO, who will be formally announced in late April 2025.
