Tiffany Conner named GS Women's Basketball Assistant Coach

Georgia Southern head women's basketball coach Hana Haden has announced the hiring of Tiffany Conner as an assistant basketball coach for the upcoming 2025-26 campaign.

Conner joins Georgia Southern women's basketball after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant coach at the College of Charleston.

While at CofC, Conner helped the Cougars achieve back-to-back 20-win seasons. In 2023-24, the Cougars went 22-10 and advanced to the second round of the WNIT. Last season, CofC went 25-8, setting a new program record for wins in a season. Again, the Cougars advanced to the second round of the WNIT and Conner helped coach Taryn Barbot, who was named the CAA Player of the Year. 

Prior to CofC, Conner was on the staff at Saint Francis University for the 2022-23 season and at Chicago State for the 2021-22 campaign. Other coaching stops for Conner included stints at Fort Valley State, Labette Community College and Rutgers - Newark.

A native of Teaneck, N.J., Conner was a four-year standout at USF, where she led the team in rebounding as a junior. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in communications from USF in 2012 and earned her master's degree in sports management from SNHU in 2017.
