Game Notes
- Georgia Southern begins its final road trip of the regular season at Marshall on Thursday. The contest is set to tip off at 7 p.m. on ESPN+ and the Georgia Southern Sports Network.
- It's the second meeting between the teams this season. GS topped Marshall 81-76 in Hanner Fieldhouse Jan. 5.
- Marshall is tied for second in the Sun Belt standings, while the Eagles are tied for seventh. The top-4 seeds earn byes in the upcoming Sun Belt Tournament.
- The Eagles are in a stretch in which they finish the regular season with four of six contests at home. GS is 2-3 in its last five and coming off a 68-53 home win over Arkansas State Saturday.
- Seven Eagles are scoring seven or more points a game, and only leading scorer Andrei Savrasov takes more than 10 shots a game (11.1/gm). Six different Eagles have led the team in scoring in a game this season.
