Mr. Maurice Small, entered rest, Saturday, April 29, 2023.
Mr. Small was the son of the late Joseph and Lannie Mae Hill Small and a native of Savannah Georgia, where he received his formal education in the public school system of Chatham County.
He attended the First Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Frank Small; a uncle, Joseph Mixon, two aunts, Beatrice Hicks, and Corine Grigsby.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a brother, Joseph (Cathy) Small, Summerville, SC; a nephew, Joey Small, Summerville, SC; uncles, Boysie Hill, Jr., Philadelphia, PA and Linwood Mixon, Florida; a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral services for Mr. Maurice Small, will be held 12 pm, Friday 12, 2023, at the First Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Best and the Rev. Vinson Small, officiating. Burial will be in the Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church, Statesboro, Ga.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
