Lillian Kay Paul, 76 of Sylvania passed at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 2, 2022.
She was born in Sylvania and was a graduate of Screven County High School. Throughout her life she held many positions, including having been employed as a sales clerk, waitress, and most importantly, a homemaker and caregiver to so many. She loved her family and they were her center. She will be remembered fondly for her unselfishness and gift giving. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larne David Paul; mother, Lillian Doyle Taylor; sisters, Joyce Taylor Denmark and Emalyn Taylor Morris; a sister-in-law, Linda K. Taylor; and a bother-in-law, James H. Greer.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Shannon and Darrin Fleming; Becky and Dustin Waters, all of Sylvania, Michael and Ana Paul, and Patti Paul and Mark Paulson, all of Bremerton, WA; a sister, Jeanette Greer of Indian Trail, NC; brother, Johnny Taylor of Sylvania; grandchildren, Josh O'Neal, Justin and Kelsey O'Neal, Jacob O'Neal, Journey Fleming, Jarrin Fleming, Jeremy Loghry, Kayli and Travis Giles, Branden Hurt, and Brandon Smith; 13 great-grandchildren; a special friend, Mary Jones; her fur baby, Teddy Bear; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 3:00pm in the Green Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jason Wiltse officiating.
Interment will follow the services.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
