Mr. Eugene Junior Howard, age 63, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
The native of Statesboro was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Robert and Cora Lee Morrell Howard and attended the public school system of Chatham County.

“JAM’N Gene Howard '' was a former disc jockey for WEAS “E 93” Radio in Savannah Georgia.

Eugene Junior Howard was a self-employed truck driver.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Walter Morrell.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Melody D. Howard, children, Christopher D. Prescott, Brandon A. Bell, Eugen Howard, Jermaine C. (Alycia) Howard, Devon D. Howard, Jamell Howard, and Keon T. Howard; siblings, Lucious (Janice) Morrell, James, Jerry Louis Howard, Shirley Lavonn Howard, Tammie Lee Tate, Patricia Moore and Ann Fernandes; grandchildren, Brandi N. Bell, Shakari Gary, Elijah C. Howard, Isaiah J. Howard, Hezekiah J. Howard and Payton J. Howard; several aunts, a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing for Mr. Howard will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from the hours of 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.

The funeral service for Mr. Eugene Junior Howard will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church, with the pastor, Dr. Francys Johnson, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
