November 13, 1953 - June 21, 2023
Ardrena Elliott-Brown, transitioned from this earthly life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 after a brief illness. She was a native of Bulloch County where she received her formal education in the county's public schools, graduating from Statesboro High School in 1971. Upon graduation she attended Savannah State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a minor in finance, before moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 1977.
She was a member of Hunter Hill Baptist Church and was retired from the Georgia Department of Labor after thirty years.
She is survived by, her devoted sister Katrina Elliott Walker (James) Savannah, Georgia, a niece and nephew, Orunda Elico Elliott (Loletta), Daphne Michele Elliott-Hodge (Tony) both of Statesboro, Georgia; her devoted friend Jerry Harvey, his daughter, Piper Harvey and her son Jason Dean all of Atlanta, Georgia; great nieces, Dazrelle Brown and Kialani Perry both of Lawton, OK, and Chelsea Hodge, Statesboro, GA,; a devoted cousin Ricky Hereford, San Diego, CA; numerous friends from Statesboro High School C/O ’71, Georgia Department of Labor, and Savannah State University Alumni and a host of loving cousins and friends.
A Celebration honoring the Life and Legacy of Mrs. Brown will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Little Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 327 Railroad Street, Brooklet, Georgia 30415, with the pastor, Reverend John T. McPhatter, eulogist and Elder Donald Chavers, Jr., presiding. She will be entombed at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
Public viewing will be Friday from 12 noon till 6:00 P.M. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the funeral home.
