Mrs. Alma L. Cranhchall, age 94, entered rest, Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born November 30, 1928, in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late John and Jessie Mae Simon Washington.
At an early age she moved to Philadelphia Pennsylvania where she received her formal education. She was a graduate of William Penn High School class of 1943.
Mrs. Cranchall was a retired administrative assistant for the United States Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She was a dedicated member of the Providence Baptist Church before moving to Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Mabel Tate.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Sandra Roziar, Amelia Palmer, Barbara Kitchens, William Palmer, Richard Wright and Christopher Wright, a sister Mary Stokes, a host of grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
As per the wishes of Mrs. Cranchall she will be cremated.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
