Visit Statesboro's 2025 Visitors Guide wins prestigious Communicator Award

Annual Communicator Awards Award of Excellence

Accent Creative Group is proud to announce that it has received an Award of Excellence (Gold) in the 31st Annual Communicator Awards, presented by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA), for its creative work on the 2025 Visit Statesboro Visitors Guide.

This coveted recognition, shared with top-tier brands and institutions like Netflix, NASA+, The Walt Disney Company, Getty Museum, and the Savannah College of Art and Design, honors the highest level of achievement in marketing and communication. With thousands of entries submitted from around the world, the Communicator Awards is one of the largest and most competitive programs of its kind.

The 2025 Visit Statesboro Visitors Guide was a passion project created in close collaboration with the Statesboro Convention & Visitors Bureau. Designed to inform, inspire, and connect, the guide puts a spotlight on the people, culture, and Southern charm that define Statesboro, Georgia.

"This project was a perfect blend of storytelling and strategy," said Pam Ledbetter, CEO and Owner of Accent Creative Group. "Our goal was to create something that didn't just inform, but truly connected people to the spirit of Statesboro. Winning a Communicator Award of Excellence is an incredible honor, and it's a testament to the power of collaboration and the authenticity of the community we were privileged to showcase."

This year's guide goes beyond traditional travel listings, weaving heartfelt stories and personal profiles throughout its pages. One of the standout sections, "Hometown Highlights," features beloved community figures like Steve Hein, Executive Director of the Wildlife Center at Georgia Southern University, alongside local chefs, entrepreneurs, and creatives who make Statesboro a place worth discovering.

"Statesboro is a place of southern possibility. It's a community of incredible people with stories to be shared," said Becky Sanders, President and CEO of Visit Statesboro. "This guide is about more than just what to do in Statesboro; it's about the faces you'll meet and the incredible memories you'll make. We're proud to see this recognized on a national stage."

Accent Creative Group, a Lawrenceville-based creative marketing studio celebrating 21 years in business, brought Statesboro's story to life with a fresh design, authentic voice, and visually engaging layout that invites travelers to not just visit, but to truly connect with the community. The 2025 guide is available at all Georgia Visitor Information Centers, at Visit Statesboro, and online at VisitStatesboro.org.
