United Way of SEGA is thrilled to introduce a groundbreaking tool to our community, United for ALICE. ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed, and represents hardworking families across our community. These individuals and families, while employed, struggle to make ends meet due to incomes that surpass the federal poverty level but fall short of meeting basic needs.

ALICE families play a vital role in fueling the local economic engine, contributing significantly to the workforce. United Way of SEGA is delighted to unveil this comprehensive report, shedding light on the often hidden and silent challenges faced by ALICE families in our community.

This tool is designed to provide invaluable insights for our entire community, including nonprofits, corporations, and those involved in public policy. By leveraging this resource, United Way of SEGA can identify the precise locations where ALICE families are concentrated and, more importantly, discern the changes required in the local communities to empower them to thrive.

United Way of SEGA believe that a better understanding of ALICE families will pave the way for targeted initiatives and collaborative efforts that address their unique needs. Together, United Way of SEGA can foster a more inclusive and supportive environment, ensuring that every member of the community has the opportunity to achieve financial stability and a higher quality of life.
