WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) construction partners will close interstate lanes at the locations below for the 16@95 Improvement Projects, which will widen Interstate 16 (I-16) and reconstruct the I-16/I-95 Interchange. The lane closures are necessary for widening activities for I-16 and bridge work at the I-16/I-516 Interchange.

- I-16 eastbound from the I-16/I-95 Interchange (MP 157) to I-16/I-516 Interchange (MP 164)

- I-95 northbound @ I-16 overpass (MP 98 to MP 100)
- I-95 southbound @ I-16 overpass (MP 101 to MP 98)
Memorial Day holiday work restrictions will be in place from Friday, May 23, 2025, at noon to Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 5 a.m. No road closures or work that restricts or interferes with traffic will be conducted during this time frame.
