The Exchange Club of Statesboro held a Community Picnic in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month on Saturday April 13, 2024, from 10am-12pm. The event was held at Fostering Families' 7th Mile Farm in Statesboro. 

The event was free for everyone to attend and enjoy family time. Food, drinks, games, and more were provided for a day of family fun and community fellowship.

"We do this each year in recognition of April, which is Child Abuse Prevention Month," Christina Harrell, Treasurer for the Statesboro Exchange Club, said. "We wanted to do something for our community to give back, and we hope that our efforts make a difference in at least one child's life."
