Farmers market returns, face-to-face in downtown Statesboro

Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market will revive their outdoor market this Saturday featuring local vendors selling fresh produce, dairy and more goodies downtown.

The market spent over a year away from their usual physical location, moving online with Market2Go for a contact-free market when the pandemic began.

Starting this weekend, Saturday, June 19th, visitors have the chance to return to the market and purchase direct from vendors.

The farmers market is expecting around 25 vendors to make up this Saturday's market with a few familiar vendors like Jacob's Produce, Prosser's Shrimp, Hunter Cattle and several all-new vendors.

The market will continue to meet in its physical location every Saturday through November, and their online location Market2Go continues to offer all of the farmers market weekly with none of the contact.

The market is open from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. off of East Main Street in the Synovus bank parking lot.
