Early morning fire heavily damages Statesboro home

Statesboro and Bulloch County Fire Departments responded to a heavily involved house fire on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 just outside the City of Statesboro.

Bulloch County 911 dispatched the fire departments, Bulloch County EMS and Bulloch County Sheriff's Deputies to a house fire at 1:41 AM in the 100 block of Pamela Way off of Hwy. 301 North.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Deputies were the first on the scene and reported flames and heavy smoke coming from the modular home structure.  They also reported that everyone was out of the home safely.

Firefighters battled the blaze for nearly an hour.

The home appeared to have heavy smoke and fire damage.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

Statesboro Fire will conduct a routine cause and origin investigation.

There were no reported injuries in the fire.
