Child Advocacy Services, Southeast Georgia announces sixth annual Grand Slam

Child Advocacy Services, Southeast Georgia (CASSEGA), a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and supporting foster children and their families in Bulloch, Effingham, Jenkins, and Screven Counties are thrilled to announce their upcoming CASSEGA Grand Slam.

The event, hosted by CORE Credit Union, aims to raise funds and awareness for vital child abuse prevention initiatives in the community. Scheduled for Friday, March 22, 2024, at the GSU Golf Course in Statesboro, Georgia, the CASSEGA Grand Slam promises a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and, most importantly, making a difference in the lives of children.

This year's tournament holds special significance as CASSEGA recently became a local council of Prevent Child Abuse, further strengthening its commitment to safeguarding children and families. By collaborating with Prevent Child Abuse Bulloch, CASSEGA extends its reach and impact, implementing training programs across Bulloch, Screven, Jenkins, and Effingham Counties.

"We are excited to kick off April's Child Abuse Prevention Month early with our annual CASSEGA Grand Slam," said Julie Pickens, CASSEGA executive director. "This event not only fosters community support but also raises critical funds to protect vulnerable children and empower families."

New this year, CASSEGA has partnered with GolfStatus to streamline sponsorship and registration processes. Prospective sponsors and participants can easily sign up or learn more about sponsorship opportunities by clicking here.

Additionally, a new sponsorship level called TechSponsor offers enhanced visibility, placing sponsors' logos and names on all app-related publications.

"We invite businesses and individuals to join us in this important cause," Pickens continued. "Your support will make a tangible difference in the lives of children and families in our community."
