East Georgia Regional Medical Center (EGRMC) is pleased to announce that the first baby born in the New Year was a baby girl, Journi, who made her arrival on January 2nd at 4:38 a.m.
In a statement, EGRMC said, "We wish the new parents, Shakera and Michael, and their family good health, wellness and happiness for many years to come. Congratulations on delivering a healthy and beautiful New Year's baby girl here at EGRMC!"
