This weekend, Statesboro native Dr. Kristi Hofstadter-Duke will participate in Dancing with the Savannah Stars. Duke is the practice director and a pediatric psychologist at Savannah Behavioral Pediatrics. She and her husband, Skye, have three children, ages 4, 6, and 9 years old.

Dancing with the Savannah Stars benefits Brightside Advocacy. Formerly known as Savannah CASA, Brightside Child & Family Advocacy provides services to prevent child abuse and neglect by strengthening and supporting healthy family relationships.

A message from Dr. Duke:

By participating in Dancing with the Savannah Stars, I am not just stepping onto the dance floor; I am stepping up for the well-being of our community's children. The funds raised through this event will directly contribute to Brightside's programs, offering critical support to families in need.

As a pediatric psychologist, I understand the far-reaching implications of child advocacy and familial support. By dancing for Brightside, I am contributing to a cause that promotes resilience, healing, and the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of countless children, giving them the chance to grow, learn, and flourish in a safe and loving environment.

Help me to support this meaningful cause! Whether through sponsorship, attending the event, or spreading the word, your involvement will make a lasting impact on the lives of children in our community. Thank you for your support!
